Aviation company Air Asia India has started door-to-door baggage service for its passengers. In this, the company will collect the luggage from the passenger’s house, then transport it to the destination. The airline has named the scheme as ‘Air Asia Flyporter’.
The company has issued a release in this regard. According to this, “It is a very convenient service for those traveling.” Initially, 500 rupees will be charged under this service for one-way delivery from the airport to the destination. In the first phase, this facility has been started in Bengaluru, New Delhi and Hyderabad. It will soon be launched in Mumbai.
This means that the passenger choosing this end-to-end service will have to spend a total of Rs 1,000 from both sides. In this service, the baggage will be picked up from home and delivered to the address of Destination City.
